I can't spell and have difficulty with math, but my reading is above average. Dyslexia is where one side of your brain doesn't work as well as the other for me my left side doesn't work as well.
I was severely dyslexic when I was younger but I have always hated it when other people comment about it, despite being dyslexic I got all A's on my GCSE's apart from 1 B+ which I couldn't believe, even though I had tried really hard I actually thought that there had been a mistake and checked it with my teachers when I got my results. And I got all A's on my A levels.

I know there are people on here that see that I can't spell and tell me that I’m 10 y/o and that I should grow up, I got that said to me when I was 5 and there are 30 y/o men saying it? So why do you assume it? I don't judge by that I judge by what I know about a person.

I work 40 hours per week 8-5 in a job that is not all that related to my business admin major. I just started back this semester and I am working full time and taking 12 credit hours. Is there any advice anyone can give me on how they survived it or how to manage time. All of my course are online, however, it seems like they require more time than an actual class sometimes. I just get to make my own schedule when i do it, but there is more homework. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

My 7 year old daughter is a very high functioning autistic child. She's getting great grades in regular school, is a beautiful kid, and generally a very happy kid, despite having a few communications problems. She is a tough kid, never bothered by scraping her knee or falling down, etc. She does cry easily if someone forgets to put her favorite scarf or mittens in her backpack when she comes home from school or if she feels like her schedule has been changed without warning her in advance.
Some of the bigger kids on the bus have been teasing her because she whines and cries easily and often. By often, I mean comes home crying about once or twice a month. She has a long bus ride, and it must be hellish to put up with that much teasing every day.
So my question is what, if anything should I do to try to curb the teasing? It has become bad enough that the bus driver has her sit in the front of the bus to protect her.

The situation is girls and boys squabbling on My Space. Nothing is threatened to the person, nor was anything said to person about hurting in any way at home, or at school. Picture was sent to others stating only that person in the picture was a fake and a phony, and how to recognize a fake. Students called into office at school and threatened with "Cyber Stalking", and at parent meeting about incident parent also told student could be facing possible expulsion. Can the school intervene??? Person who was depicted "fake" had been taunting others for over a year! Person who posted picture of person had turned the other cheek for entire year, and posted picture like the straw that broke the camels back. Thank you, I need information ASAP!!

I've been having trouble keeping up with everything; things in school, things outside of school, friends, homework. I get stressed out, nervous, and worried a lot. To me it seems like maybeI'm not starting my school work early enough and putting it off. Today for instance i didn't start it until around 4:30 and i get home at 3:00. I dont remember any time when i was surfing the internet instead of doing homework. I am still working on it, and I have kind of a lot left. It's 10:00 PM right now. Am i a procrastinator, or do I have too much homeowork? How do I become more organized to help me finish my homework earlier? and how am I supposed to be less stressed?

Why are we blamed for forgetting things when we have tried our best to remember?

It is no good assuming that people have not tried to remember because you cannot prove that, and everyone has a right to fair trail and so we have to prove it.

Have you ever had your teacher moan because you forgot to get your PE kit?
You tried to remember, but saying this to the teacher just doesn't cut it.

Tell me how a teacher can be right dispite this? and why.

This is something that I have been trying to figure out for ages. I really need an honest answer. Is it because they want to take out thier frustration on the kids or something else?

I would like a very indepth and conscise or scientific answer.

Looking back at those years, I have to say that junior high was much more fun and more memorable for me than high school. The kids seemed more real and it was all about having fun. In high school, the kids started to become fake, judgemental, and too serious. Granted, their were some tough times in junior high, but for the most part, I have only good memories.

I am going to move to Montreal from Vancouver and will enroll in the Marianopolis College in the next school year. I would just like to know which BC highschool course is equivalent with the math 536 in Montreal schools, so I can know whether I already have the prerequisite or not. I am currently in grade 11 but taking math 12.
