One on hand - do you mean 'on the one hand... on the other hand'? If so, then: "de l'un côté...[fact/opinion]... de l'autre côté ... [other fact/opinion]

Otherwise - as a conjunction, "sinon", also "autrement"

In contrast - "par contraste" ("par contraste avec.." = in contrast to)

It may be the case that - "il se peut que..." is probably the closest equivalent

On the contrary - "au contraire" or "contrairement"

i'm purely in French I, yet i understand some words? i wish it's going to help, i will submit them incase it does, if it does not, i'm relatively sorry. De rien - you're Welcome D'accord - skill ok ouais - "Yeah" - i does no longer say this to an grownup even with the indisputable fact that, that's considered "known", so which you may say it to pals/equals. Mon oeil! - actually skill "My eye!", in English it may well be like "Yeah precise!". J'ai faim - i'm hungry. J'ai soif - i'm thirsty J'aime - i admire Je n'aime pas - i do in contrast to Uh... i wish I helped. once you're in an more advantageous point of French and you already understand this, sorry.

Go and buy a copy of 501 French Verbs (in W H Smith, Waterstones, etc) it has many of these useful phrases and other excellent examples.

The TACK organisation produced some guidance booklets on French, Spanish and German.

Good Luck
