I am going to move to Montreal from Vancouver and will enroll in the Marianopolis College in the next school year. I would just like to know which BC highschool course is equivalent with the math 536 in Montreal schools, so I can know whether I already have the prerequisite or not. I am currently in grade 11 but taking math 12.

Math 536 is the highest or last class you can take in High school.
But here high school lasts only 5 years...so where you are going (Marianapolis) is a College or CEGEP that is more or so equivalent to your last year of high school + one more year...

I think your Math 12 may be equivalent to some of the courses that you can take in your first year of that new program (if there is any) if it is only a prerequisite (Math 536)...Math 12 is what you need...they might actually credit you a course if it's value is more than the 536...you should ask them for that, but don't worry it is okay for you to get you in the program.
Here in Quebec you don't have to do you Math 536, but it is an asset.
Regular Math class for secondary 5 ( last year of high school) is Math 514.
