Looking back at those years, I have to say that junior high was much more fun and more memorable for me than high school. The kids seemed more real and it was all about having fun. In high school, the kids started to become fake, judgemental, and too serious. Granted, their were some tough times in junior high, but for the most part, I have only good memories.

i agree. high school is alot of drama and more work. high school is good for you if you are looking for drama and fighting. i loved middle school. it was all about hanging out with friends and living life easy.

For studying French, look up schools that have FLE (francais langue etrangere). For example, in Nice there is the CUEFLE. It costs about $1000 a semester. As a student, you can get housing aid too. For studying in France, there is the website campusfrance. If you study business, there are programs that have courses in English or English and French. For example, the school skema has a bachelor's degree in business. If you do something like this, you'll probably find a good job. As a student, you will be able to work part-time. You can try being an au pair for families.

I have to agree that junior high was more memorable for me too. I still keep in touch with friends from jr. high (and that was 17 years ago)

High school was so great for me.
I loved my teachers; I had great friends.
In high school, you know who you are more.
In junior high, you're still just a kid.
In junior high I had more problems--anorexia, for example--by high school I had accepted myself, learned to take life with a sense of humor.
Every one of my high school friends and teachers are amazing people who I will never lose touch with.

hmm i'm not in high yet, but in all honestly, it's all the same to me. there will still be those teachers who you will continually try your hardest to respect, the friends who totally rock your socks, and the backstabbers...
well...so far in middle school, we have tons of hw [i mean the kind that you stay up until literally 2 a.m. doing], which is seriously detrimental. and right now, it isn't much "fun" at all. if anything, we're just being forced to fit into this mold our school sets for us...the even weirder thing is that i go to a PUBLIC school.
i know, i sound like such a whiner, but high school sounds soo much better right now...but who am i to say that?

High school for sure. Yes, middle school was simple and easy, but high school was the time I learned about the furry triangle.

i like highschool
it's the time when you get a car and a little more freedom
basically you dont' learn anything in highschool except to think
and socialize
proabably underneath all that fake, judgemental, too serious
we highschoolers are just trying to find out who we are

I haven't reached high school yet (8th grade currently), but I don't like it that much. I love my friends, but the grades and teachers are terrible right now. Hopefully high school will come along better.
