My son (6) is above his class for reading and is not part of a reading group. Is this a good idea or should he be in group with similar reading abilities? He seems to be losing interest and I am a bit concerned.

An assingment about Michaelangelo for art.
an science report about a pondweed experiment for science
a french project on one of it's regions,
a week to learn all the choir songs (CHRISTMAS CAROLS) off by heart
Practicing for the state 400m running competition
End of year maths and science tests coming up
english grammar test,
junior college spoprt captain form to fill out (About a big presentation night)
and only one week to do it all.............!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!

i just want a few opinions. I have just served 4 years active duty and i just turned 22. I feel like i am a little old to be going to college but really want my degree and make some money. I just feel that its been a long time since i have done any school work, and i think i would get lost if i tried. i mean all my friends i went to high school with are done with college and here i am going to be a freshman. I will be 25 ish when i get done. Please give my some advice .... thanks

i dont think it is fair for teachers and staff to banned cell phones from children what if there is an enmergency what can the call on when the office doesn't let them use there school phone

So this teacher of mine is ALWAYS picking on me. And its obvious. And he KNOWS he's doing it. Me and my friend (who's a girl) got out of our seats and he tells ME to sit down! Just me! And she keeps walking and he doesnt give a ****! He just doesnt like me and I dont like him and we both know that, but that doesnt mean he gets to take any excuse to get me in trouble!
And dont come back with some lame *** answer like "Be really good and THATLL show him!"
I want a real solution.
He says Im FLIRTING. Like every day he says "Oh stop flirting oh stop flirting" Which maybe I am a little but why should he care? Its not like I dont know the material I can write better than he can!

my son came home today and said he has been pushed into the wall by a teacher, the head said i can do one of two things, 1 let the head conduct an internal investigation or 2 report it to the police and let them conduct an investigation, my son is not brusied or marked in any way, but he dont want to go back to school, what would you do????????

Ok i'm in a community college, i'm 19, so i'm an adult.

It's a group communications class, so we got into groups and we had to discuss something within 10 min. We finished in about 5. When we were done i opened up my cell phone (WHICH WAS ON VIBRATE) because I got a txt message. She saw me just open it for 5 seconds and i just needed to read it and she comes over and starts trying to tell me I need to have my cell phone turned off for class and that it's in the syllabys. I look it up and it says "to not distract others around you, please turn off all beepers and pagers." And what I was doing was distracting no one.

Also I was reading my notes in class while we were having a discussion because i needed to look up a word, she yells at me for not paying attention when I really was.

Also she says she penalizes your grade for being late, but doesn't say it on the syllabys. Isn't this contract infringment?

Is there anything I can do to go above her? She just snipes me, am I wrong here?
