For my 5th grade science project I bounced balls on several surfaces and I saw on which surfece the ball bounced higher. I got 1st place, and also my best friend put dog teeth into different sodas to see which soda made it dissolve faster (safe, just get dog teeth from your pet's veteranarian, if you have a pet), and she got first place also, so when your daughter wins, we should share the ribbon. Just kidding, LOL :D

I did a project on rocks and their uses, and got first place.
Took a while to get lots of different types of rocks.
I also did one on the eating habits of Guinea Pigs. Like, which food they preferred over what and why that might be.
I got 3rd place with that idea.
