Are you well behaved in class??

Why or why not?

If you are well behaved sometimes, but not others, what are the things that contribute to your bad behaviour?


Im learning to be a teacher, everyone is talking about this stuff without asking any kids. I hoped you might be able to help me out.

Why?

For me I am 29, attended Catholic School from K-12. My schooling was inferior to public school becuase of the poor technology, minimal educational programs, and spent too much time doing religious education and church.

I've known some education students who dropped out of their program because they found the classrooms to be intimidating during their student teaching. Did they make the right decision, or is this normal and lessen with time and experience?

Paul & Joyce had 25 comic books altogther.
Paul & Mark had 52 comic books altogether.
Mark had 4 times as many comics books as Joyce.
What is the difference between the number of books that Paul & Mark have?

The answer is 20.
But i am not sure how the answer is derived!

I start a brand new high school, next monday. I'm very nervous, I don't know anybody, I sort of have social anxiety disorder (so I'm prone to panic attacks) , and don't deal with change very well... I don't know what to do! I'm a complete geek and, I'm afraid I won't make friends... please give me some advice! I'd usually retreat in to my studies but, this school is different, you learn through internships and such... I'm so nervous. HELP!!!

I'm interested in a career change. I graduated college three years ago with a BBA in Marketing. I minored in fashion merchandising. I am currently working as an Assistant Store Manager for a department store. Although the money is good, I am not always happy in my job or in my field. I'd like to do something rewarding.

I've done some soul searching, and I've decided I'd like to become a high school teacher. I want to teach social studies, history, or economics. My questions are:

About how many more courses would I have to go back to school for? I graduated with 137 credits, and all of my gen eds done. I guess what I'm asking is, how many credits are in a secondary education major?

I'm hoping I could achieve my goal by going to school part time. How long would this take?

In the states of Michigan and Indiana, is there any alternative to a full semester of student teaching?
