what kind of summer job is right for a 14/15 year old guy who is in HS and has no prior job experiences?

Mow lawns, other clean up jobs, pet sitting for neighbors on vacation.
If you have time, once school starts you may be able to tutor. Ask guidance counselor.

The restaurant industry is a good entry level job market for someone that age. I was busing tables at age 14. Also it has pretty flexible scheduling for working around school as well.

Legally I don't think much, usually you have to be at least 16. But if you know people you can mow their lawn or do some baby-sitting.
Ask around.
