I'm really worried about my GPA! The grades I'm getting are ( I think) A-, A-, B, C-, B, A-, A. Can I still Be getting a 3.5 for GPA? I just need like an estimate,yes or no. And if you feel like sharing why you think that please do! I'm worried because grades were due today and I need a 3.5 to make honor roll at my school. Report cards don't come out until Friday and I would really like to have an idea ahead of time.

Well, my school has uniform.. and some people are saying uniform shouldn't be worn, and some people say it should be worn... What do you think?
I have a few reasons why uniform should be worn..:
If your class ever goes to another school or place, people will know who you are and where you're from, and wont think you're some other stranger. Another one is for example your class goes to a class stip somewhere, and you get lost.. you'll know who to find by checking if they are wearing the same uniform as you.

If you have an enclosure...does the word "enclosure" refer to one item or can it refer to several items.

For instance...if I am enclosing 7 photos with my letter should I put "enclosure" at the bottom or "enclosures?"

Just wondering which one is correct or if both uses are correct.

i live in California and my children were getting free lunch at school but know i got a letter in the mail that says if i dont send my annual income they wont get lunch any more. Hears the thing i work in lawn services like land scapeing and i dont get an annual income like people do in other jobs. my children will get no more lunch on November, 15 2007 and i dont know what to do can somebody pease help me.

Hi, I'm 18 and I just registerd with my mom yesterday. There's a lot of work to do in college. He gave me a test to take so they can see what level of education I'm on. The guy said Don't fill it out for him (to my mom) And when he left my mom filled out everything lol. Ugh!!! there were some advance words to read and understand. I my name is luis and Im a international student and I work for the us army and well since I joined in the army like a year and two months and I trying to look for advices or recomendations to be consider as a first time student to enroll whether in a comunity college or university also starting with a degree program which one I'm interest in International Business in technology or Ingeniere in Technology or start my general studies also if it is a good Idea to use my GI BIll or TA or tuition assistence program if it fast and better take clases online also I need to know what kind of things or aspects I have to be careful. My brother told me that being a straight-A student does not guarantee I will get this scholarship.... what they're more interested is how I lead my life outside the college life.

Well, could any of people here enlighten me a bit here? About life outside college to qualify for this full scholarship? Sports, Arts or whatever?


PS: I'm talking abut MIT-NUS-NTU Alliance full scholarship... or something like that since I don't remember exactly of it.... I must ask my brother once more.....

My civics class needs ideas for things to do this December that would raise awareness about certain issues. So far, we thought about making a "toy drive" where every student in the school donates a toy which will then be given to poor kids. Another idea was that the class should go to a hospital and do some activities with sick children.

If you have any ideas, please answer.

*Please take into account that the class has no money and that all the expenses will have to come from the kids' pockets.
**The kids are 14-16, so nothing that involves driving.

I tend to write and type very slow when I need to write something long. It's not that it takes me a long time to write in general and I don't have a slow typing speed. When I write longer things, like essays or articles, I tend to try to think of the best way to word sentences. Often I go back and insert words and sentences. Something that may take an hour for the average person to complete would probably take me four hours.

Has anyone experienced this? What is the best way to improve this?

So heres the deal. At the school I go to our dance teacher quite. Then she started teaching at a place next do. Then owner told her that she could teach there during certain hours because the guy had no karte classes going during that time. One of the Parents at the school threatend to sue her if she didn't leave. Is that even possible to sue someone for that? IM me on AIM if you need anymore details its wolf2839
