no not all of them, my mom is lvn and is school nurse. But the head nurse is R.N.

This probably depends on the state you live in and the requirements of the State Education department. I believe in New York they are registered nurses, who don't get paid as much at the school as they would at an office or hospital. Good luck.

YES! Mine was, I see ads on monster for school nurses and it's a requirement to have an RN. My old nurse had "RN" after her name on her badge soo =]

most of them are lpns either way don't let them think they know more then the doctor. the nurse at my sons school tried to tell me what he has and the doctor say no it isn't that. They don't have to be rns though just lpn would do.

I don't see why they would have to have that much expertise to work in a school - but I would imagine they would all have to have licensed proof of what they can do and what they know.
