On the top floor lived my family: my mother, father, brother, and me.

Or should it be, "my mother, father, brother, and I?"

Hey everyonee. I'm running for a class officer for my grade. There are only 5 people who actually get the job...and around 25ish people are running! I'm not the type of person who stands out to people much (super smart, ditz, strange, or popular), I'm just there...in with the crowd. Anyways, I was wondering what are some things that I can do to spread the word? Posters are okay..but still. What should I put in my speech? So far I have stuff like benefiting my school like "strongly speaking my voice and accepting all opinions from my grade" What else should I use? It can't be more than a minute though, so I'll have to narrow it down.
Thanks!! <33

I'm 18. I'm really curious about this, as I'd like to marry and have a committed relationship somtime in the future. I've heard quotes like...

"Marriage is the best way to ruin a beautiful relationship"

"Marriage is a grounds for divorce"

"One should always be in love - that's why one should never get married"

What's more, I hear so many middle-aged married men complaining about their wives and their lack of freedom. But I've always thought that marriage would be ideal, a perfect bond that should last for life.

As far as I can remember, 2/3 families divorce. How **** is that? All opinions and responses appreciated.

This teacher really creeps me out. She's, like, overly obsessed with me. I dunno why, though.
It all started when she caught me talking to a friend in the hall. She was "surprised" that I'm really outgoing. I'm not that shy as I was a couple years ago, but I'm still "a little" shy. Like, I don't like to participate a lot, but I try to.
Anyway, the day after she caught me talking in the hall, she came up to me after class and asked me to participate more in her class.
Then after that, she always "analyses" me when I'm talking to my friends, or just being loud in general. And what really bugs me is when she always tries to talk to me and smiles really weirdly.
And another thing: Every time I answer a question in her class, she goes "over board" on praising me. She's make a really big deal if I participate. It's so annoying!!!!!!!! And she's the only on of my teachers who does that.
I have NO clue what to do. Any advice? Were you ever in a situation like this before?

I've heard geds are easy from about 4/5 people.

I have four years left of high school, and 4 months of studying sounds a lot better than four years.

I know there's a chance a ged won't get me as much money, but I just want to know if its harder then high school.

School work comes hard to me. Working (even very hard) is a lot easier to me. So I want to get done with school and start spending a lot of time working.

One more thing, I think they changed the ged test in 2001 and made it harder. So it would help you if have taken it after that time.

What is the name of the classical piece of music played when the academic procession walks in at graduation ceremonies? I heard it in 2003 at my first degree ceremony, again in 2004 with my second degree and this year with my M.Sc. I know the one song is Gaudeamus Igitur.

Research shows that when the drinking age was 20, eighteen-year-old boy and girls were already sneaking into pubs and clubs, getting drunk and causing grief under the influence of alcohol. With the government putting the age down to eighteen it's going to encourage sixteen and seventeen year olds to sneak in and out of clubs and pubs. I mean they think they're tough without alcohol and man when they're drunk they believe they're the toughest things on earth. So my advice is “Don’t drink alcohol”. ......................................................???

I'm doing a research paper on Homosexuals and Nazi's.... the negative impact of the Nazi's on homosexuals. How it was for homosexuals before hitler, during and after...

Right now, i am going with "Homosexuals are more masculine than Nazi's".... does that sound okay for a 300 level class in a University? If not, what do you recommend? I have my sources (Gad Beck and Pierre Seel's books)....
