Do you mean as a protest? I don't think we should ever burn a flag in disrespect.

Three things:
1. Read any Marine or Boy Scout manual and you will find that burning the flag is the proper and honorable way to dispose of a flag. So burning, in itself, is not bad at all. It is just the reason behind it that matters.
2. The flag is a symbol of our freedom, it is true, but a symbol is never more important than the ideal it represents. In other words, freedom is more important than the flag. So if someone chooses to burn the flag to defile it or to protest something, then they have a right to do it. The flag should never be held above the rights of the people that it represents. That would be like honoring the circle and cross that symbolizes the female gender and then dishonoring and abusing women. It wouldn't make any sense.
3. That said, I don't agree with people who burn flags in protest. There are more appropriate, intelligent, and useful ways to protest. But out ancestors and war heroes died in battle to protect our freedom. It would be a dishonor to them to take away someone's right to act on that freedom. That includes burning a flag if someone wants to. They're the ones that look bad, so who cares what they do?

I think it is wrong. It does not matter what flag it is, meaning what country it belongs to... it's just wrong. Personally I think a flag signifies all the fallen soldiers that have died defending the country they believe and live in. So, by burning a flag... you are taking all those lives and torching them up in flames. What respect is that to all the Veterans?

Adds flavor in making smores.
Kidding.
I'm against it for the most part. But that's only because of all the times seen flag burning, were for idiotic reasons. : /

I don't think it's necessary, but I can see why people might want to as a form of protest.

Disrespectful. If you disagree with your own or another country, there are other ways to show it, like by posting questions here!

I may not agree with it personally but I do agree with having the right to do it politically.
