If you're in grade school: A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. You add up your grades and find the average. For example, if your grades are A, B, C, A, B it would equal 4, 3, 2, 4, 3. The total would be 16 and 16/5 = 3.2 GPA. Hope that helps.

Use 4 for A, 3 for B, 2 for C, and 1 for D. Es are 0s.

Take your grades in all of your classes and add their numeric values together. Then divide by your total amount of classes (minus lunch, if you have one.) This should give you the average of your grade points, of GPA (grade point average.)

If you take AP classes, you add one to your grade, so A-D become 5-2. E stays 0, though, I believe.

Take the square of your parents' combined income (American Dollars) and divide that by your weight (Pounds). This is how most every school does it. The beauty of such a system is, even if some little brat is a flabby fatty tatties, they are still rewarded for having rich parents.

a=4
b=3
c=2
d=1
f=0

if you have 5 A's. then you have 20 points, (5x4)
20/5 (5 being how many grades you have)=4.0

its just findind the average using that point system. some schools have a different point system.

Divide your total score for all classes by the number of classes.

what I do is calculate my grades...
lets say I have six classes...three A's. two B's and one C.
A's=4.0
B's=3.0
C's=2.0
D's=1.0
F's=0.0

So on my calculator I add up: 4.0+4.0+4.0+3.0+3.0+2.0=20.00 and I divide it by 5 which gives me a 4.0!

Oh! and if you have honors/AP classes at my school the points scale is like this:

A=5.0
B=4.0
C=3.0
D=2.0
F=1.0

Hope this helped!
