Of course, students don't go to law school for the same reasons. Some are interested in politics, while others are interested in other types of law, such as entertainment.

Instead of borrowing thousands of dollars for college expenses a talented high school grad could easily become a success if companies would hire him. His starting salary would be smaller and his employers would be getting a good deal. Everybody but the colleges would benefit-------lets try it.

I would prefer to have Professors to give your opinion on this.

I am planning to go to Japan for a master degree from the best university there. Let's say I want to obtain a PHD in business later on in the states, would it lower my chance to get accepted because I have grad degree abroad? I heard the mainstream of Professors in the states doesn't value degrees abroad as much. Is that true?

So.. I plan to attend UT in the fall of 2008(I know I will be accepted due to Texas' TOP 10 Percent Law). My question is should I stay on campus or off-campus? Also if I was to stay off-campus how far in advanced should I start looking for apartments and looking at getting a lease signed?

I would appreciate only serious answers.. not "two points" , etc. Also UT alumni might help, but would appreciate answers from anyone that has had to make this decision..

First best answer gets the ten pts.

I really want to get the heck out of the college I am going to now so I can transfer to a top university so I signed up for 20 units this semester. How difficult do you think it will be?

I am going to be taking:

Physical Geography - 3 units

Introductory Sociology - 3 units

Spanish 1 - 5 units

Social Psychology - 3 units

Abnormal Psychology - 3 units

Cross-Cultural Studies - 3 units

Surprisingly I'm not a sociology or psychology major, lol.

I think a forensic pathologist would be pretty neat to do if I become a doctor, but I love history. I want to major in history education with a double minor in french and anthropology. I want to be a teacher, but I've always felt like I've wanted to be a doctor as well. Is it possible that I can apply to medical school after I've been out of college for a while and base my decision to study forensic pathology from studing anthropology and the human body?
