I am thinking about obtaining a degree from an online university and I am curious to see what corporate America thinks about online degrees.

I'm a working adult who graduated form high school 4 years ago. My grades in high school were pretty decent ( B average). I'm planning on going back to school. I know I have to take my SATs, but what are the chances of me getting into a good college or university even if I get high SAT scores?

I'm not planning on going to an Ivy league school or anything like that, but I was just wondering what my chances are getting into a university. Would colleges and/or universities even look at my grades from high school since they are so old? I would really rather not start at a community college, I would like the chance to go to a big school with a big community.

early childhood education degree if I allready have the job.. I will not get a raise for it. But do you think it may bring me more job security where I work? I want to work up to director or assistant director someday if a position comes open. I am planning on getting the associates degree in it.

I have been doing so well in school, but for the last week it has been down hill. I am now failing one class (in a weeks time) I know the material and I know how to do the assignments, but I just do not feel like doing it ...AT ALL!! Is there anyone that can help find a way to motivate me and get me back into "work hard mode"before its too late. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you in advance

My cousin Sara is trying so hard to get into medical school.
She failed the big MCAT test the first time she took it but she
thinks she will just be able to pass it the second time she takes
it in the next few weeks.
Does it hurt your chances of getting into Medical School by failing the MCAT the first time and barely passing it the second or does all the Medical School care about it if you passed or not?
Hope someone can give me some insite! Thanks!

Hi,
I'm from Chile and I'd like to know the difference between a career and a major. You see, here, you say you'll go to university to study a career.

Also, what is the difference between a college and a university?

I have recently graduated with a degree in archaeology, but I now have my heart set on being a journalist. I cannot afford to take another full degree - is it worth doing some sort of distance learning or adult education course? If so, which are best looked upon?

I'm trying to pick a major for my undergraduate degree...
What types of classes would I be taking if I majored in the "Humanities?"

I would prefer specific classes or topics instead of general areas of study, but any information you provide will be helpful. Thanks!
