I do not have money for a lawyer, I appealed to the dean and provost to no avail, I wrote to senators and my governor to no avail, I called other universities and they said I would have to take 65% of their classes to finish my degree.
I had a 3.6 GPA and recommendations from two other professors. The professor that I had the argument with had power and I offended her ego. It is that cut-and-dry.

On the Clark Howard show, he recently mentioned that 10% of universities are currently instituting a "life studies" course as a REQUIREMENT for all their degrees. In this course it teaches students how to properly maintain their debt, how to balance a checkbook, how to build credit and maintain it, how to rebuild credit after it becomes bad, the best ways to look for a new career, etc. Basically all the best information a college graduate would need before going out there into the real world. On top of that, a requirement within the class is to prepare a will.

Now doesn't that class sound like one of the most important classes any student can take. Wouldn't you rather have that as a required class for your degree instead of "English Composition II" or "Sociology"? I'm surprised it's currently only offered at around 10% of the universities out there.

to teach biology in college. Why do so many people want to be pre med. I laugh sometimes because I wouldn't want some of the people in my classes operating on me. I know someone that has a 2.4 cumlative gpa and is about to graduate and she says that is about to apply to med school. Why do so many people want to be doctors.

I have a friend whom I am trying to help enroll in a college program. I am very "leary" of online institutions that do not have a ground campus program especially for a bachealors degree. (My friend has a busy schedule, so he needs a school that has an online experience b/c of the flexibility they offer.) I have considered one school that has an online and ground campus that is accredited by an agency called the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).

I have never heard of these accrediting agency. The only two I have heard of is North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

QUESTION TO YOU
1. Have you heard about this accrediting agency?
2. Is it legitimate?
3. Can go on to grad school with with a degree from a school like this?

Please offer any other advice.

You have to spend four years in college for one degree? So four years for a Bachelor's? And then four for a Master's? Are you kidding me?

"" This robot is able to travel on X, Y, Z direction (X for 100 mm distance long; Y axis for 200 mm distance long, and Z for 100 distance long). This movement is fully supported by excellent rigidity and accuracy. This robot's arm is able to spin at 8000 rpm speed. In addition, its brain is guarded and protected with eigth areas (two for top and buttom, two for left and right, two for rear and front). THis robot is armed by a machine gun which is capable of 11 bullets at one time. Once you press the buttom, the gun can be fully re-loaded in five seconds. "

In English, Can I say "eight areas" ? I am trying to describe eight pieces of covering to protect a cubic object"

Hi, I've been very stressed lately by this. I need to see what other people have to say about it.

I am a undergraduate student at the CUNY (City University of New York) Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College. Its a program that offered me a full scholarship, and that was basically why I chose to attend it. My major is a BBA in Economics with a Real Estate minor. After this upcoming semester, I will have completed 90 credits. My GPA is currently a 3.94. I've also established myself pretty well here, becoming the treasurer of an Economics club, and also getting involved in many of the school's activities.

However, I still don't know why I feel that I'm not quite satisfied with where I am. If I were able to, would it be a wise move to transfer to Cornell Univeristy and continue my Economics studies over there? It'll be only a year and half more of studies if I do transfer. Would this be a wise move? Please help me..

P.S. Money isn't TOO big a problem but its defintely a factor.

I am a poli sci grad who is thinking to obtain a MS(not MBA) from Japan. I am interested in entrepreneurship in the digital media industry. I got inspired by my mentor to study about business intensively. With a background in political science (interested in policy making) to go into business related field, does it this sound appealing to you? I just want to make a plan so I can work on it.

preferred people with academic experience (Professor) to answer my question.

is GPA a indication to succeed as a future graduate in MBA?

I disagree with that, because it is not the grade that matters. As far I am concern, there are quite bit of business leaders who didnt finish college. Book street is not the same as street smart.

I am not saying this because I have a bad gpa. I have around a 3.4, I guess it is alright. I am just questioning those people who want to go into grad school(especially MBA) without any clue to start with.

Please share your thoughts with me.

I got into a good university, but I decided to change my area of study and dropped out. In the meantime, I applied for and did a psych. degree through distance learning. I graduated but did not score very well.
That was due to my ignorance.. I have now realized how difficult it is for dismal grades (3/4 gpa) and studies by distance education for getting a good job.

The thing is, is it too late to make amends?
What can I do to offset my performance last time?

I mostly did the degree on my own, even though I attended local classes. I did not know that straight As are necessary for graduate school.

What do you suggest I do?
Thank you
