Whether your degree title is BS or BA won't make a difference in the grad school admissions process - the curriculum of the degree will make a difference.

If you have a choice, you want the bachelor's degree with the higher research and writing content if you want to go to grad school. Things like stats and research methods/undergrad thesis often make more of a difference than an internship/practicum in psych.

What will be most important is your GPA and your scores on the GRE (general and subject).
