Okay so heres the deal. My grades are terrible. My grade point average is a weighed/unweighted 2.54. I have had a learning disability my entire life. And it's not just me, it's run through most of my moms side of the family as well. It's not that I don't try. I try really hard. But I can't help it if I learn at a slower paist then others around me, ya know?
I'm hoping that colleges will notice that I go to a performing arts school, and major in musical theater. I also have over 200 hours in community college since my freshmen year(I am now a junior). I have a part time job, and I have directed a show at a middle school which was in the paper. I know I probably would get into a community college with great ease, but I want to attend something better. I would love to go to a school like University of the Arts or Boston Conservatory... It just seems almost pointless to even try now. Is it too late? Would colleges cut me slack? Please help!

I am 54 years old and my wife died when she was 51 years old. She loves me so much. I don't have any feelings for her. We have been together for at least 30+ years. I never had children with her but I did started having sex with her since I was 28 years old. She died from an accident. I didn't kill her. I told her "I love you" countless times. My feelings for her wasn't that deep. If I left her, I won't have anymore sex and she'll be heartbroken and I will start paying for child support if she did got pregnant. I never fell in love with her. If I did fell in love with her, I know I will be very sad right now, but good thing I didn't fell in love with her. I can imagine myself leaving her and not being sad. I don't feel bad at all for her death. I had to pretend to be crying on her funeral to let her family think that I am sad. To be honest, I am not sad. Before she died, she said, "I am very happy to have meet you in my life." When she was alive, I treated her like a queen.

Hi. One of my subjects happens to require a philosophical paper. The problem is, I can't decide on any of the topics I've chosen... My choices happen to be: (1) Filipino ethics should be changed (2) The problems of a Technological Society.
The problem is, they're too broad, and they're more 'social' than 'philosophical'.

Help me?

I am an international student applying for a MBA from University of Wales, Bangor. I would like to know what are the prospects for students who complete this course. Do they get competitive jobs in British (and other European) companies?

Also, Is there any forum on the Internet where I can discuss related issues with fellow students about education prospects in the UK?

I know a lot of people who write left-wing papers, etc. simply because doing otherwise would result in a bad grade. While I do understand the positions behind liberal-thought, I am wondering why university students/professors cast aside the reality that a true socialist system has never been implemented (and is improbable for that matter)

I've been forced to do a 1 year foundation course in art & design to gain entry to what I really want to do: an editorial design degree next year.
I hate the foundation course, I feel like I'm not learning anything and the people I'm with I really don't get on with at all. This is the reason I've not been in uni since November, however I submitted an extenuating circumstances form in December which was approved due to my mental health issues (I suffer from Clinical depression with anxiety, Seasonal Affective Disorder and Insommnia) of which I'm currently on medication for.

I'm about to submit another extenuating circumstances form next week, but I'm worried that they'll reject it because I've had so much time off.

Does anyone know what happens if I get kicked off in terms of Student Loans, I've heard they just take it all back out of your bank account, is that true? I still want to do my degree next year though, can I pass the course just giving work in?

My youngest child has started school this year & I have always wanted to eventually become a midwife but I don't know where to start searching as far as schooling goes. I am a single mum with 3 kids so wish to do the course by correspondence. I have a Year 11 pass (except English). So I need to start from the beginning as far as nursing goes & work my way up to midwifery.

2070 SAT I
770 Math IIC
720 Biology M
31 ACT Composite
4.17 Fully Weighed GPA
3.7 Unweighed GPA

Truth be told, I took way too many classes and did okay in them rather than succeeding in all my classes. I will have 370units (5 units= 1 semester of class) by the end of senior year. (Average of 9.1 classes per semester 9-12 grade).
