I have a friend that, for me, is intelligent in term of calculating math problems. But he have very poor in terms of reading and memorizing ability. he is now an accounting student. he had ask me once, what career that only related to calculating only. i said science courses is a good choice. i thought there must be a lot of answer to this question. can you help me help my friend?!

Science is ok, but not that great a suggestion. When people say a "calculating" job, they usually mean engineering or some kind of other math intensive job. Many business professions require very strong math skills, such as calculating trends and things of that nature. Accounting is one of those Business type jobs that require calculating.

Statistics, or maybe an actuary. Actuaries make good money. I think they calculate potential gain and loss for businesses.
