how to get admission into iit for post graduate courses , what is the gate score required?

i would like to know the required gate score for getting into the indian institute of technology , is there any extra qualificatons required . i am doing my engineering in a self financed institute .

i think there is a cutoff that is calculated on completion of every gate result..it varies vear after year..
n y oly IIT?...y not try the IISC or the NIT's as well..they do stand out for their knowledge and courses
