I want to do MBA after engineering.I lost one year because I got more than 4 arrears in the year.Will this affect my admission into MBA or my job prospects?

If I were in your place, my mental status would have been the same. If you really want to do MBA, if you have the determination you will get through.
More important than your one year back is what talent you have. If you have that talent which you can prove by clearing their entrance tests and other stages like group discussion and personal interview, no need to think twice before setting out for preparation. Though you may have to answer why your year was back in interview. What went wrong.
So don't worry just concentrate on your MBA preparation.
