Hi, i am trying to transfer to a better University,
and I'm taking some classes at a community college,
So,If I am accepted at a University this year,
and register for it, is it okay if I attend the school
the next year?
b/c i also want to try a different school, but i would need to take one more semester at a community college.
that is why, after being accepted at a university, I was thinking of taking one more semester at a community college,
and apply to a different university and see if I get in or not.

is this even possible?

They were going to a four year school to get a four year degree but realized that there was no way they could afford it? So instead they had to a tech school to get a two year degree instead? Thats whats happening to me right now.

And I know the email did get sent cause I got a delivery receipt. Also, I know she's in her office because I called the department to ask if she's sick or something. I emailed her once last week, once this week, and left her a voicemail on Monday morning.

What should I do?

I have a question that no one seems to have an answer for. I studied for my BFA for 4 years (122 credits) but never graduated. What is the BEST way to finish either a BA or a BFA? I really don't care what it's in at this point. A BA in liberal studies requires me to take at least 70 more credits, mainly full of ridiculous core requirements. I work full time -- how can I finish this degree?!?! Thank you...

Of all the people who graduate from college and earned a bachelor degree:
-what is the percentage of those who are unhappy of their current situation?
-what is the percentage of those who went on to do work in their field?
Percentage of those going for PHD/ MD?
-Percentage of people die prematurely? die violently? gotten ill?
-travel the world?
-travel the world and come back broke?

Thanks.

Of undergraduate students who declare pre-med as their major, what percentage actually become Medical Doctors, in the US? Alternatively, what is the ratio of medical school slots to pre-med majors?

Hello everyone. I'm a college freshman, a young black woman, come from a "bad neighborhood" and I go to one of the top ten liberal arts colleges. Also, I am Pre-med.

I really hate the people on my floor. They make me feel extremely uncomfortable ALL the time. I used to try and befriend them but I just don't want to anymore. They drink, party and smoke and I don't. They assume that because I don't that it means that I look down on people that do. In actuality, all it means is that "I don't". Instead, I just hang with people from other dorms or I study all the time. So far, I've got a 3.63 GPA.

I've been feeling guilty because I don't have that connection with my floor, including my roommate (I'm cordial though). The second semester begins soon and I am torn between whether I should try to make it work at my own DISPLEASURE or should I just care about my feelings and not worry about them? I really don't want to be bothered with them, at all. Please tell me I am not being ridiculous.

Its doesn't need to be a masters, it can be a bachelors degree too. Masters degree is prefered though. I would just like to see a list of schools that offer the program. Thank you in advance for your help!

I am currently in my final year at university and need to gather research for my music and animation related project. I need data that can help support my idea and also to inspire me. So, I would be forever grateful if anyone can fill in the questionnaire found on the link below. So I guess my question is 'can you help me fill in the questionnaire below?'

I've applied for a genetics PhD program at one of the nation's top institutions (baylor college of medicine, if that is of any help) and have been invited to a 4-day interview with them, all expenses paid.

My question is now, how many people do they offer interviews to? Twice the amount of applications they expect to accept? Three times as many? The amount of offers should be fairly low compared to other graduate programs.

If anyone has been through this process and have any advice for the interview (like what kind of questions I should really be prepared for), please share! Thank you all very much!!
