I am a college student taking my basics but want to become a photographer.?

People keep asking me what type of degree I am working on...Well when I am done I want to be a shoot photo's for magazine companies and such...The school and program I am in right now will get me an associates degree...So here's my question. From now on when people ask me what I'm going to school for...Should I just say my Art Associates? Or what? How do I WORD it without sounding dumb?

What you want to do is called photojournalism.

Your degree program has a name, use that. What you want to do with your degree is a separate question.
