I'm planning to do a online M.ed.

I came across two online Universities, both regionally accredited so they are real degrees.

One is 'Jones International U' and the other is 'U of Phoenix'.

I've heard a lot of good news about U of P and its reputation in the online degree business, however after reading the course info of both courses, I think the Jones one is better for me (1. its more specialized and it whats I want to learn 2. I think it is cheaper)

Has anyone any experience or comments on Jones?

I not really studying the M.ed for a career path, but it may come in handy later on ... maybe go for the U of P?

I am a junior in college majoring in Banking and Finance. I am highly interested in working in investments and helping people plan for retirement. I aced a class project dealing with this and my teacher, as well as the whole class, said I found my niche. However, besides doing well in school, what are some steps or career paths I can follow to become a financial analyst. I am really passionate about helping people plan for retirement and I also see that it pays great money but you have to have 5 years of experience or more. If there are any CFOs or Financial Analyst/Advisors (and/or career counselors), I would glady take your advice and my appreciation is extended. It's usually hard for college students to find their niche. I've found mine and I want to know some good tips or paths to follow. Thank you.

Does anyone know how being a guest student works? I am a junior in college but I switched majors a little late and I want to go to medical school so I need to take my Mcats soon. So, I need to take the science courses. I wanted to take them this summer, but I my school does not offer all of the ones I need over the summer. So, I would like to go to another school to take them. Will I be able to apply for financial aid although I am only a guest student at that school?

Tulane is ranked 44 and will probably only move up a couple of spots, and UT is not very far behind at 47.

I'm pretty sure that medical schools and other graduate schools do background checks to look for criminal history, but do they also look at your work history? Are they concerned about every place you ever worked prior to applying?

i have lots of difference of opinion regarding law and order in indian government they decide their judgements based on hummanity but according to me the judgement must be based on their doings for example( in noida the case is still going on, becoz they were under psychiatric counselling i think there is no point for psychiatric counselling, they both were killed more than 60 childrens even they were mentally not well will the government allow the others to do the same). i expecting the judgement must be lesson for those who r doing this and to save the future generation.

Think about the last time you attended a lecture or were in a classroom. Applying the information processing model, why did some things make it into your short-term memory and some things into your long-term memory? How can knowing this process increase your learning potential? How would you reduce the likelihood of forgetting important information?

What is the proper equitte in asking a professor for a reference when transferring to a university? When applying I was requirred to give information to about two teachers to give me references and where to contact them. Does this mean the college has already informed them? If the college informed me they only need my college and high school transcript?
