Help me learn more about Canadian universities.?

Question

I live in the US, but my daughter (age 15) is interested in going to university in Canada. Where is a good place to begin learning about them, and how should she be preparing herself?

The main website for all Canadian universities is www.aucc.ca
You can also tell her that much of what she knows about American universities is the same in Canada (except that athletics is much less of a force). Also, in general Canada does not have the same model of multi-campus "state" systems.
