Universities with well known writing or english departments?

I am looking for colleges that are well known for their English or Writing undergrad departments.

Those are also the universities with the best English and writing programs.

According to U.S. News and World Reports

1. Harvard
2. University of California - Berkeley
3. Yale

These are rankings for Phd programs and not undergrad. There is no listing for undergrad programs. I believe that the University of California - Berkeley has the better English Department all around for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies in English. All of these colleges will have high admissions standards.

Harvard.

Penn State University has a decent program that teaches writing and analysis for technical writing too.

I've never actually attended, but from my research it's my opinion that Sarah Lawrence has the best undergraduate creative writing program.
