people laugh at liberal arts majors and degrees, but what are some jobs or professions someone with a liberal arts degree can look into? Thanks for replying.

Also what is a University Studies major/degree. What type of career can you find or look into with that degree?
University Studies major are not in all colleges so I understand that some individuals would not know what a university Studies degree was, so you dont have to reply to this part, but for people who do know about the university studies major/curriculum/degree, please reply.

It drives me absolutely crazy that the government has the financial aide program and they're so picky about who gets it. You have to live in a box to afford college without the help of your parents or scholarships. My parents don't help with my college costs AT ALL and I pay them all out of pocket because our government financial aide program files me under my parents b/c i'm under 25, unmarried and have no children DESPITE the fact that I live alone and support myself. I think this is ridiculous. if they want to be so anal about who needs financial aide then i think they should have a program for students who maintain a certain GPA get a refund on college. I beleive it would encourage more students to go to college and excell which would improve our overall society. ANYONE AGREE?

I want to admit my child in Bpharmacy course in a college at Bangalore. What is the procedure for admissions. Does one have to pass any entrance examination. Or admission is purely on marks secured in Intermediate examinations.

We live in Dallas, Texas if that helps. He was convicted of a felony a few years back but he still applied to some medical schools in the state. Some schools gave him interviews but some of the schools he applied to rejected him without an interview. Since he had some interviews, does he have a chance? I mean, there are so many qualified applicants that apply to medical schools, it seems like he doesn't have a good chance. But he does have good grades and got a good score on the MCAT.

I am a freshmen in college, and since I know little about college, I get asked alot from people about my major. I tell them Child Development in Practition. Do colleges (refering to upper level and Ivy League schools) differentiate substantially between an applicant with a 4.O GPA throughout high school and one with a GPA very near that? I am aware that there are a plethora of other factors that come into play here (SAT, course load, etc), however I'm specifically interested in GPA. Thanks a lot everybody.

I think it will be hard to find motivation to do school work knowing that I have no career goal. But everyone is saying to just go because I will never go back after I have been out of school for a while.
