I'm currently an AFROTC cadet, who might want to delay commissioning if I can get into UCLA's Law School. Also my gpa is a 3.6.

In high school, I was the typical stereotype of the American underachieving slacker. It isn't that I wasn't smart enough to succeed, I just often flatly refused to apply myself to any school curriculum. As a result, I graduated with a 2.6 GPA and never took either the SATs or the ACTs. Needless to say, I never spent any time in college. Now that I'm looking down the barrel of 30, I have decided that it might be in my best interest to change my ways and start a bachelor program at my state's university. However, how do I handle this on my application? Most undergraduate applications are tailored for high school seniors and focus heavily on academic accomplishments. I know that if I am accepted, I'll have no trouble actually completing the program. But how can I smooth talk my way into acceptance at a university?

Hello. I have been debating what profession to get into, and I am leaning heavily toward Pharmacy. I am wondering how challenging the Pre- Pharmacy/ Pharmacy school classes are. Obviously they are to some extent, but are they extremely difficult to the point where all you can do with your time is study? Thank you!

My description:
H.S. senior. Skipped 1 grade. Want to go into premed/ chemical engineering major (eventually med school). #3 in my class. Community service, prestigious art awards, sports, student theater, art club pres, nat'l honor society, spanish nat'l honor society, national merit scholarship commended student, 4.0 (but this year am taking AP Chem, calc, physics, english, and independent study in art, so grades fall in B to low A range). Lots of awards. SAT's: 720M 710W 700V. Good reccomendations. Do you think the ivy leagues would be accepting of the fact that i'm not number one in my class and am not doing that great in school this year? (expecting a lot of B's... but do you think they'll take into account my gazillion AP classes, and thast I am taking more classes than fit in one school day???) If I already got into Uconn's honors prgrm and Fordham, which college? Yale, Uconn, Fordham, or Brown? How is Fordham, (in comparison to yale?) Uconn?

I'm applying to colleges hopefully by December and I was wondering when I should take the GRE. Should I take it over the summer before the GRE changes, or wait until afterwards? Do schools want you to take it in a certain time limit?

Okay. I got an B.S. degree in MIS and a M.A. degree in Communications. I am now finding that I am interested in Graphic Design/Photography.

Is it worth it to get a second undergrad degree or should I focus on a Master's or Certificate? Can you guys recommend any good choices or any good alternatives?

I don't want to enroll in any one school, because I want the freedom to move from my current location.

Thanks!

What to do? Used online accredited degree program that would be accepted by my state's DPI to upgrade my educational experience. Completed the program (GPA=4.0) & 4 hr. written comps and was notified but now...they are dragging their feet - no diploma mailed, have made dozens of calls, e-mails, & written requests. Now they REFUSE to fill out a verification form to document my degree completion. What can I do? This means everything looked reputable about university and degree program but is it? I have just completed a 2 yr. master's degree and spent 10K and have nothing to prove it. What can I do if my employer refuses to upgrade my educational experience without form? Teachers don't have a lot of money for lawyers.
