I'd say the shortest doctorate program is a JD. Law school. That's cuz the normal length is 3 years. MDs and most PhD programs are a minimum of 4 years (altho you might find some PhD that only takes 3 years, they're pretty rare).

I think you can get a Ph.D. in pharmacutical science in 5 or 6 years, including undergrad, but you have to spend all of undergrad working on it too. Most Ph.D. programs take 4 -7 years, not including undergrad.
