btw, what's osteopathic medicine and D.O.? Because I know MSU has a college of osteopathic medicine.

It's hard to say what's a "good" school for premed.

To get into med school, they just want you to have finished their required courses. They'll take a look at you as long as you're coming out of a 4 year undergrad.

Obviously, the more prestigious the school you go to, the more impressive you'll look to them. The less prestigious, the higher your grades will have to be because they'll know the classes were easier for the most part.

A DO is a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine. Just look it up in Wikipedia. They're basically considered real doctors. Can do pretty much the same stuff as an MD. I don't consider them real docs tho. However, I don't have too high of an opinion of most MD's as well due to personal experiences. Still, most people generally don't hold DOs in the same regard as MDs.

ignore me if it's not, I don't really know anything about premed and such. I just know that school's really good.
