YES! I'm currently an admissions representative and while I can't speak for all colleges we do accept students who have a GED. From high school graduates we require their transcripts and SAT or ACT scores, from students with GED's we require the GED and SAT or ACT scores (no transcripts.) I'm certain a lot of this depends on the college though so be sure to check out the places you're thinking of attending!

Yes. I knew someone that did. He decided he had had enough of high school and blew it off after his junior year. He got his GED, blew away the SATs and went to Rutgers, where I met him as an underclassman.

yes you can. call the college and you will have to register and probably take their placement tests.
