After spending 4 years at a school like that, how do you cut down debt? How do you even live, since you are considered financially independent... How much debt do you accumulate and how long does it take to pay off?

I'm currently attending a community college. I'm applying to at least eight universities, and they all have one essay question in common. It is as follows: "write a personal statement discussing your past academic carrier, and explain your reasons for wanting to leave your current college". Please help me begin this essay. Give me some ideas on how should i go about writing this essay. I think I'm experiencing writer's block. Let me know what the college is looking for in essays, especially for transfer application essays. Thank You.

I know some distance learning courses offering PhD and/or DBA, but I do not know how convincing this is to prospective employers and peers. Do people look down on "distance learning" doctorate degrees? Is it worth the $15,000 to $40,000?

I currently work and would want to get a doctorate part-time. In the country I reside in, there are universities which offer part-time brick-and-mortar doctorate degrees. What do I do?

Does anyone know where I can do this kind of study? I will stay in London for a year, from August to July. University/school preferably close to Ealing, as I'll (probably) be living there.

I been out of college now for 13 years. When I was in the process of getting my undergraduate degree, I was placed on academic probation. This took place during my sophomore year. Not taking things serious, lack of preparation and not realizing how important it is to keep you grades at good standing. Now I have been a returning student (13 years later) taking classes that was not required for my major, but needed for Graduate school. My performance has change drastically (for the better) and I guess it is contributed to age, and the severity of grades.

Now I'm filling out applications for Graduate school and one of the questions ask, "have you been denied readmission or ask to leave any college because of conduct of academic deficiencies".

I was unsure how to answer this question:
**How do I start it off?
**What do I say that will reflect my performance, several years after I have graduated with my BS?

Thanks in advance for the advice...
