If one has his GED, can he apply for a 4 year college/bachlors?

Almost always. A few schools won't accept a GED in lieu of high school diploma but I can say with certainty more than 95% of them do take a GED.

Just like the previous answer says, you're also going to need to have an SAT or ACT score from a test that you took within the last five years.

Of course you can apply to any college with G.E.D. G.E.D. is equivalent to a high school diploma. It is recognized by all colleges and universities in the United States. Go ahead and apply to a college.

I received my GED in October of 1989. I applied and was accepted to Loyola University in New Orleans. I've also attended Kaplan University online. It may be a good idea to take the ACT or SAT tests if you haven't already. They help in determining where to place you in classes. You will do fantastic, just go out there and make it happen.

you can apply for admission to college/university for 4 year study.

GED is for High School.
