I want to go to medical school and am planning to take my pre-med requirements after I graduate. Does anyone have any ideas or comments on how I should go about preparing for med school? I was wondering what would be a good job to get after I graduate so I can still take classes and get experience in medicine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

2. Cal State Sacramento
3. Cal State Long Beach
4. San Diego State University
5. UC Davis (** this is the only UC i found with a Interior Design program!... but i'd like to go into a UC better than a CSU)

My parents think so. They just don't understand and I can't even talk to them about it in an adult-like manner. All I hear is that "life is tough" but it's not all about the "tough" part. Granted, this is my 2nd semester of college starting up, but I still don't know what my interests are and I don't want to have to pay for school when I don't want to be there. I'd rather be working and not having to live off of my parents all the time. People can take breaks and go back when they feel more secure about their position in college, right? It's not just the schooling part either, it's more of an emotional thing for me. I just don't feel up to it. But people think I'm so much better than this. I don't think they really know me..

In Michigan, Affirmative Action in college admissions was overturned so I was wondering if colleges were able rate kids based on grades but grades from different school systems would carry different rates. For example a 3.8 GPA from a wealthy school district doesn't mean as much as say a 3.5 GPA from a poor school district.

At the last college I attended I was injured and couldn't make it to classes. I had only attended a few. Since I hadn't paid for them yet, I just let it go, because they said if I didn't pay tuition they would automatically drop me from my classes. I just found out today that I owe them a few thousand dollars and have all F's. What should I do? I have been working in a restaurant for 5 or 6 years and I don't want to do that the rest of my life.
