George Mason University in Fairfax VA has a good political science program and since they are located very close to Washingotn DC there are many interesting Internship oportunities there as well as jobs dealing with different aspects of politics. George Washinton University and Georgetown Univeristy are also amazing and close to DC. for that major being near the capital could be a great advantage.
Good luck
