I am a homeschool-highschool senior. I will be starting a local college this next semester (spring '07). Does anyone out there have any transition tips...like ways to make the transition between homeschool and college easier? I'll be doing them congruently so I can get use to it, but I know it will still be difficult.

Please only answer if you know what you are talking about. When I say Ivy League caliber, I mean all the Ivies and other elite non-Ivies like Duke, Stanford, Rice, etc.

I am a senior in high school and I will be attending Temple University in Philadelphia fall 2007. I don't know what I want to major in. I pretty much like anything besides history and biology. I have an interest in some social sciences; such as economics, psychology, and sociology. I also like the arts; films, music, art, literature. I have a strong interest in physics and math (besides geometry). But I want to have a job relating to business and computers. What major would you recommend? I have thought about engineering, and realized that it would be too hard for me. But IT and economics interest me. I want a job in a city (where I have to wear a suit every day) and something that pays well.. If I could live anywhere, I would pick NYC.... What do you think I should major in?

I am 38 years of age and was wondering if it would be too late to go back to school to try an get at least an associates degree (if not a Bachelor's degree) in fixing computers. I already have some college behind me (28 credits) but never finished because I had to drop out of school to care for my son when my girlfriend decided she couldn't be tied down with caring for a child. I am concerned about age discrimination because I would be in my forties when I graduate but I want to better my life. Can anyone offer advice and let me know what I can do?? Thank you!!

If you're a university or college graduate, what was your GPA when you graduated? I'm doing a paper on the average grade of a post secondary graduate, and I can't find stats anywhere for it.

Thanks SO much.
