Don't you mean that the other way around?

Can you not think of any reasons why you can't get an MD on line?

Could one reason be that you actually need hands on experience?

Could one reason be that you have to follow doctor's around the hospital?

Could one reason be that only good schools offer medical degrees and there are no good on-line universities?

Course work is only one part of an education. For instance most sciences, not just medicine, require labs and research. I have taken online classes, and they are fine, but they are often too easy and the student doesn't get the submersive experience one gets if they attend the school full-time. If you just want the paper than online programs are fine, you'll use little of your course work in the real world anyway, but if you want an education then I think it's a poor substitute.

im actually going through the same thing, You CAN get a degree in medecine if you allready have credits in that area. for example: in my case, if you allready have your LPN then you are able to persue your RN online.

Some med schools actually let you take calsses online and then you meet on the weekends for clinicals.
