I have to do an intrest speech and I was going to talk about how I got and trained the horse I ride he is a retired race horse and I was wondering if that would bore you to death to hear 3-5 min about that if you didn't know anything about horses. Would you care or be like "so what who cares why did she think we want to know about that"??

Is there any sense in obtaining two undergraduate degrees if the fields of study are significantly different?

I.e. if you studied political science, and want to enter a clinical pyschology program.

Is it a waste of money? Do you gain valuable knowledge, or is it redudant?

Hi, I am interested in a career in accounting. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I am thinking of going back to school to get another Bachelor’s for Accounting because it will be easier than getting a Master’s in Accounting and not having any experience at all. Also, I was looking at the Master’s program for non-accounting majors and you have to take a lot of credits and the classes if you are enrolled as a Graduate student are more expensive.

I would like to know how hard it will be for me to major in Accounting?

I’m not used to studying hard. I’m used to being the “lazy student” and barely passing. I love Math but while I was going for my Bachelor’s in Sociology I took Calculus 1 and I didn’t pass it because I couldn’t keep up with how fast the class was moving.

Any advice how I can achieve the above or any options on what I should do?

Thank you.

- Did full-time school, instead of attending nights/weekends, really help you complete your degree more quickly?

- Were you able to network more, gain more research experience, etc.?

- What are the pros and cons of attending graduate school at night/weekends/online versus full-time in-class research?

I've been accepted to Berry College near Rome, GA. I applied because of its excellent Liberal Arts Reputation, but so much of what I read about it focuses on the heavy Christianity that is part of life there. Is there anyone that knows Berry that can tell me if there is tolerance for non-christians at Berry, or are they really looked down on or worse, is someone always trying to convert them?

I have a huge hole for next semester on wednesday and German language fits perfectly (no offense to my holocaust ancestors). Anyway the class is worth 4 credits. FOUR. Is it really that hard cause my GPA would suffer big if I were to flunk it. Or is it just safer to leave a hole there?

I think it may be Accounting and Finance. I hate accounting, and last semester I tried to have a few finance classes and found it not interesting as well.
My other options are Human resource and Marketing, which one is easier to get jobs and which one pays more?

Thanks.

I'm graduating with a degree of Computer Engineering this coming Summer and I really want to pursue MBA but I have a low GPA of 2.81. I'm trying to pump up my GPA to 3.0 so I can at least consider to apply to a decent MBA grad school. Currently my plan is to work for one year and then pursue this goal. Do you think this is a good plan or is it better to pursue it right after you finish college? What is the average time when people consider for MBA after graduating?

Thanks.

I have read many books and articles on the subject. I am thinking of beginning an MBA program next fall and I wanted to see if anybody had good or bad experiences with either type. Not so much the cost, but rather the value and experience I am interested in learning about. For instance, does an online MBA deprive a learner in any way?

I know there is plenty time to boost my GPA and do other activities, but would medical schools hold a C against me. Hey..it happens I guess???
