I need some much needed help answering these questions:
These all have to do with the Great Gatsby!!!
1) How are objects personifide and what is the significance?
2) Daisy says to Gatsby that he is/an advertisment? What does she mean by that?
3) What is the nature of human relation in the book? What is the significance of the nature?
4) Why is this such a classic american novel? Why has it captured the national imagination in such way?

First, read the book. These are only my interpretations, and I would you prefer you to add your own spin on them to aboid plagarism:




1) How are objects personifide and what is the significance? objects such a mansions, fancy cars and elaborate social gatherings all personify privilege and status
2) Daisy says to Gatsby that he is/an advertisment? What does she mean by that? By that she means that his persona is one of outward projection, namely one of power and prestige
3) What is the nature of human relation in the book? What is the significance of the nature? The human relation is based on the concept of living for the moment. Wealth can be fleeting, and beauty can be disguised.
4) Why is this such a classic american novel? Why has it captured the national imagination in such way? It captured the heart of the public by presenting them with what the American dream was supposed to consist of. However the book shows dramatically the downfalls of such pursuits.
