My suggestion is to take the GMAT. All the good schools want it -- and an MBA isn't worth getting unless you go to a good school.

Most, if not all, good MBA programs in both Canada and the US require prospective students to write the GMAT. Although the test isn't easy to do well in (I have taken it), if you give yourself the necessary time to prepare properly for it (e.g. 1- to 6-months, depending on your available time) you can become proficient.

An MBA is a graduate degree; to enter the program, you MUST have an under-graduate degree. If your science degree is from a recognized post secondary institute, you should had no trouble pursuing a graduate degree in business from any on-line university. Try Arizona or Athabasca, there are others, but those are the ones I am familiar with.
