why always bad things happen to good people?why is this happening to me?

im a 20 years old male full of dreams full of hope very ambition i dont hate in generally im a nice person, my cousin is 20 years too always been better than me every way hes always been the good kid and im the bad one hes the smart one and im dumb one even tho i was better than him in school,he studied here in college one year he failed so somehow he got himself sent to america the gov is paying for him he didnt even tell me about it,he lives with sister there he gets 1500$ pocket money and some other stuff laptop etc. he dont even like english people, he has been there for a year now, and i wanted to do like him my dad asked me to not to so i listened to my dad I WAS WRONG.so now im trying to put my name there on the waiting list but they accept me they said im too old now either u go on ur own money (my dad is kinda rich but im not) or study here,ALL my dream are down now all my hopes are down nothing to do about it
i onyl can get my self sent to indiana unvi i gotta work part-time

i wanted to go to arizona unvi with my friend she said shes gonna hook me up with a cool job but i got no money for arizona unvi
its 30,000 $ i could only have 16,000$ per term
its kinda messed up every cousin in my family and my friends are studying outside the country and im stuck here alone... even i made it there ill be the only one whos paying for his own college
cause of my cousins either scholarships or their fathers money
every since my cousin went to there last year my life turned HELL!
i felt like he was planing for it long time didnt even tell me and my family loves him they think he'll get a better future than mine
i didnt pass college last year i dont feel like doing anything
i dont feel like going to the gym anymore i dont feel like hanging out i dont feel like calling someone i dont feel like doing anyhing
either i get what i want or im gonna die thinking about it
i have never hurt anybody or done anything bad why is this happening to me ?i got no plane B

Don't just focus on money, focus on your happiness because money isn't always what makes a person happy.

It's just the effect of your thoughts. The thing is the universal rule does not work that way. The saying of why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people does not make sense. The bad person probably have something that is good within them, and is doing something good that the good person lacks. And the good person probably have something that is bad within them, for example BAD THOUGHTS, that is hidden within she or he, and the bad person doesn't have. The bad person is not entirely bad, and the good person is not entirely good either. Unless the good person realizes his or her mistakes and is willing to change, bad things will happen to them.
