I really like to read books about my black heritage and books by african americans. Like books from Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, etc. I really hope they have some courses because most web sites don't list them. So if anyone had a course like this or can tell me if they do have them in college I really apperciate it, thanks.

I don't want to get into to many details because I would hate for a specific professor to read this... but have you ever had to file a complaint against an unfair professor? I'm not talking about someone failing you because you deserved to fail or something like that I'm talking like just absurd behavior and extreme rudeness all the time. If you have ever filed a complaint or talked to a professors boss how did it end? I am not the only student who feels this way so if I needed to get other people to back me up I probably could.

I am considering purchasing a degree from an "accredited" college on line by providing documentation of my work experience. Do employers value these degrees? Are they worth the money?

This is regarding admit in B-schools in USA. I am looking forward to UC,Berkeley and UCLA. But would appreciate some other good names as well. It would be a great help if I can get the info about courses, placement and a comparison among the schools.
Relevent links would also help. Thanks.

I want a master's program in applying statistics in business situations, but not a master's program in statistics. I'd also prefer to not get an MBA, unless the MBA program has an aggressive focus on business stats and marketing research and quantitative analysis. Any good ideas?

Types of things that happen at my community college.

I've had one math professor who lets you bring a cheatsheet to every exam - one piece of paper, front and back, for you to write anything on.

Another math professor lets you bring formula sheets to the exam so you don't need to memorize them. You need to know how to use them though.

I've had a history professor who gives you 5 essay questions 2 weeks before the exam. Two of them, word for word, will be the ones on your exam. It does force you learn all the possible ques though. In the same course, there was a textbook, but you didn't need to touch it as long as you went to class and took good notes.

I've had a psychology professor whose final is composed of nothing but questions from previous quizzes.

All these profs are experienced, so its not like they're rooks out of school.

I'm writing a proposal (a paper, but you know) for an online course. My basic proposal is simple. I'm suggesting high school students consider two year college before a four year school. My problem is that I see plenty of information online, but so much of it is just people's opinions and what facts I find are rarely reliable to quote.
What I'd like is sources. I've been digging around all day looking for statistics and sources. I know plenty about my topic, I'd just like to have a reliable source to back me up and give me more details to work with. The main thing I'm searching for are statistics on students that drop out from 4 year colleges early on, especially freshman year.
I'd appreciate help and websites. Thanks for your time!

I dropped out of community college because it was plain boring. I got accepted into a university for fashion -- one of my top interests while I was a Senior in highschool, but decided not to go because of money/"afraid to leave the nest" reasons. Now, I'm stuck in a rut and I would love to "go-away" to university. Problem is, I don't know if its possible to apply again to the university I wanted to go to. I have absolutely no credit for attending community college..all I have is what I have done in highschool under my belt. Will I be accepted again?

BUT, I just now decided that I think I want to be a teacher. What do I do? Should I finish up my Liberal Arts degree (is it possible to get certified as a teacher with a liberal arts degree?) or should I hurry up and switch my major to EDU?
