I really like to read books about my black heritage and books by african americans. Like books from Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, etc. I really hope they have some courses because most web sites don't list them. So if anyone had a course like this or can tell me if they do have them in college I really apperciate it, thanks.

Yes, they have African-American Literature courses at the college level. I took several when I was working on my B.A. in English and I have also took a few while working on my M.A. Sometimes they are listed under Multicultural Literature. In order to find which colleges offer them, go to the website of the college you would like to attend and go to the English Department's page and they should have a listing of courses that they offer. I know that almost all colleges off basic introductory African American Literature at the sophmore level.

ingredient is, if you aren't to any extent further searching at it on the idea of the author's pores and skin colour, why would this is in "an African-American literature class"? it may only be in a literature class. you could't have it both innovations. If this is only being dealt with as literature then it would not remember what colour the author is. perchance you're in the incorrect class, if what you opt to ascertain is only the writing.

most colleges do. if you look on their website most have a link to the course catalog which outlines every course for a particular academic year. look in the english section and you will find african-american lit classes.

I can't see why they wouldn't...but if the college you choose doesn't, you might be able to set up an independent study for it, or even start your own class for it.
