BUT, I just now decided that I think I want to be a teacher. What do I do? Should I finish up my Liberal Arts degree (is it possible to get certified as a teacher with a liberal arts degree?) or should I hurry up and switch my major to EDU?

you should be able to get a teaching certificate with any BS or BA degree, it will probably be for middle or high school and it might be that you have to teach related subjects

You should definitely see an advisor. I would think a Liberal Arts degree would be fine, depending on the grade level yiou might want to teach. Although the standards may have changed as well better defining the degree you need. It would be best to talk to an advisor. Getting an EDU degree only takes like 3 or 4 other classes and student teaching when you already have a degree

Just start taking classes for your teaching degree and graduate with a double major. Sure looks better than just one major.
