Need some help here. Florida university is asking to show these documents: voter's registration (I'm not citizen), DL (mine issued March 06) and/or vehicle registration (renewed in March 06). I did have a DL before, first time issued in November 05. That's 12 months but... Should I wait till March then to reapply? Or send in now some leases, car title (4 years old), bills, bank statements? I applied for Fall 2007. Thanks!

I am a high school student located in the midwest and would like to go to a college on the West Coast (preferably California). What are some good schools to apply to for an aspiring dentist with a high school WEIGHTED GPA of 4.0 and what are my chances of getting into those schools (considering my location and GPA). So I have about a 3.3 GPA and my SAT scores are as follows: 590 in math, 540 in reading, and 540 in writing. Im taking them again but I submitted an early application with those results. My essay is killer and I worked a lot on it with my counselor. Also I have a lot of work experience with a corporate team and my uncle attended BU. However, I dont really have any school involved activities except for being a member of earth club and a participant of relay for life. What do you think my chances of getting in are with the above info?

i'm a senior in high school and my top choice is MIT. i go to a small town school, i took the most challenging classes offered, 3 AP classes, but my GPA isn't that great, around 3.77. i was the president of debate club and model UN team, and i was officers in a bunch other activities. i volunteered a lot, i'm actually a UN Youth Ambassador (some people say it's gonna help a lot but others say it won't). i got 2000 on my SAT, and about 700 for each SAT II tests. my essays are ok, teachers' recommendations are pretty good. i'm bilingual, i play the piano, i play sports. but i'm really worried about my GPA and SAT scores. a lot of people especially my parents think i won't get in because my grades aren't good enough. what are my chances? someone with experience please help!!!!

If one knows that they will get an "F" as a final grade in a class, is it better to drop it with a "W", or just get the "F" (lowering GPA), and which way would allow the re-taking of the class the following semester in hopes of passing it that time.
