From personal experience, I wish I had taken my first year at college more seriously. There were so many distractions, and I was simply uninterested in a lot of my classes. Depending on your major, and if you want to pursue an advanced degree, your grades can be very important. It is my personal philosophy that you will get back in life what you put in. Education is an investment in yourself, try not to waste your time and money.

Do you like being in school? If you do, then stay and give it a chance.

Not everyone should be in college, it is not for everyone, too much emphasis is placed, too many times, on having to go. I believe it is good to get a degree, However . . . there is life on the other side. . . and it is your life!
