I think you are on the bubble, probably just below the bubble actually. And it isnt good that you had to have someone else write your essay!
If you get accepted, you are going to be in class with mostly students who are much better academically than you - about 30% of BU students scored over 700 on their SATs and had HS GPAs more like 3.6 or 3.7. And they wrote their own essays without help. So, for the next four years you will have to compete against them.
Why dont you go for a college where the students are more on your own level and the faculty won't shake their heads and wonder how you got in! I'm not being mean - I'm thinking about how you can choose a college that is really the right one for you!

Chill relax,
1. Get the requirements for your own high school graduation.
2. Get the requirements for entrance to Boston University. If you did not take these classes in the local high school near Boston University then you will have problems from the start. Not worth moving near since Grade School. Look at cost of living not just admission, tuition, clothing, transportation, entertainment and books.
- After 4 years no one cares what college you went to, thats life. Technology is obsolete after so many years, so are laws. Things never change then your degree is never obsolete.
- Impacted programs? ask how it is done, usually alphabetical not by grades, SAT, or classes taken.. Fact, dead lines for starting the school from the mommy/daddy party crowd. Hand written or typed not computed by machines. If its machines then ethics are not counted.

The NYS regents do NOT matter to BU. They wont care about those grades. 600 is eh, 1780 is more eh, but remember, the average that it says on your transcript is what theyll see. So if they see a 91, they may unweight it later, but heck itll make some kind of impression. Id say you need to raise your SAT then ull be FINE. No guarantees. Itll be a match ish.

You're probably "on the bubble," as they say (i.e., could go either way).
I don't have any inside information about BU.
I do know that when my son applied to schools, some of them said they would consider the fact that relatives had attended, but it had to be siblings or direct ancestors (not uncles).
Good Luck!
