I have a husband and two kids, ages 2 and 4. I have wanted to do my MSW for a long time but it would involve relocating everyone to another province for two years. My husband has always said he would support me, but now that I'm serious about it, he says he won't go because he is happy where we are. I don't know if I should just accept this or try to persuade him to relocate so I can go back to school. I would rather not do a degree my correspondence, but it might be the only way. Any advice?

I am trying to prove a point to someone that academic success is a direct correlation to one's career in life. For example, to become a doctor, one must master years of academia before working in that field. I will only consider "intelligent" answers. Thanks!

Last Tuesday on Halloween evening I had night class that was supposed to last from 7:00pm until 9:50pm. Only problem was the professor let us out two hours early because nobody came to class due to Halloween. Only three people came to class. It took me two hours to get to the college that night because I had to take the bus and transfer buses. Also, the parking lot at the college was practically empty that evening. Halloween is not a holiday.
So, I'm irriated because I traveled to the college for nothing because class was cut short. Is this worth complaining about?

I am considering moving sometime in the next year and am worried that the credits I have at my current school will not transfer to the new college. I am hoping there is a way I can find out without contacting the admissions & records department of either school, rather, a fairly accurate list of which schools use which accrediting institution and who accepts classes from whom.

I'm just haveing a mental block at the moment. I was wondering if anybody had an example of something similiar to this essay. I just need a something to get me started in the right direction.

I'd like to pursue graduate studies in Philosophy. I do need to support myself, so I was wondering what are the careers that students of philosophy take up after their studies? I do intend on writing a book, but I think it would take a long time to complete. I am not that interested in teaching.
