I'd like to pursue graduate studies in Philosophy. I do need to support myself, so I was wondering what are the careers that students of philosophy take up after their studies? I do intend on writing a book, but I think it would take a long time to complete. I am not that interested in teaching.

A philosophy degree will help anyone who takes a job where one is required to think.

I have an undergradute degree in Math (with two years of graduate work in Math), an MBA and a PhD in Finance. But I find my two years of graduate work in Philosophy to be the most important part of my education.
