hello everyone, I am 18 years old and studying in a college, I made it to one of the best universities because I had high grades, although my problem is that I can't study......
Its my second year in college, last year I got a very high grade but seriously it was like wow, like every year from the beginning of high school because I really don't study at all unless there is an exam for example I start studying if the exam is after tommorow. What helps me is that I attend all lectures and understand everything well but when I go back home I feel like no no no I will not study I will have more time tommorow and tommorow happens the same....
I feel very much anger (from mycelf) when I see people studying and I mycelf didn't open a book from the beggining of the term, I would like someone to help me with this problem
you will tell me that I get high grades in the end, but I feel very much pressure throughout the year and before the exams because i know that I dont study and I could fail.

This summer I managed to enter one school where I can get PhD degree in economics. But I didn't expect it to be so intensive. Besides I'm not so mathematically inclined as they want people to be here. I'm not really happy with styding in this school. I do not like the economics they study here at all. I feel over-stressed, I have insomnia and I do not have full-fledged week-ends as we always have many homeworks to do and as it is really complicated doing them takes all my "free" time. But in this school I get stipend and good accomodation. Now I have another option to choose but without a stipend. Only with subjects I will really enjoy to study. What should I do? I do not have enough courage to make an appropriate decision although I know the one that will suit me. All people in my present school will think that I am weak and stupid in case of my dropping out. I'm lost in my own thoughts. How to make a right decision?

I currently go to GCC. I have 19 units + 13 units in which I am currently enrolled. I have been following the plan to get a degree at GCC. I was halfway through a degree in Business Administration. I have not been following a transfer plan. It would be much too stressful to try and switch plans now and try and fit it in with my work schedule.

Is there any other way to get into CalStateLA or UCLA without following a transfer plan? Can't I get my degree from Glendale Community College and then later on apply at CalStateLA or UCLA ? I know I've heard of people getting their AA at one school and their BA at another school.. Right?

What about applying as a Lower Division Transfer Student? Can you tell me more about this and would this work for me? I have just become a California Resident and my high school GPA and SAT scores were good.

I am applying to law schoo...I'm 26, I would also really like to have a baby and I feel like its one or the other. I would so like to do both but I'm afraid its not do-able. I know of people who did it in their last year...but that's four years from now for me. I also want to be home with my children, for at least a while. What do you think? How can you have children, be there for them, and have a great career?

I am currently a softmore with a GPA of about 3.7 and want to become a Dr. Will I receive college applications when I become a junior or senior. If so who gives students college applications is it the high school staff or do colleges look for students they want and then send them college applications. Does anyone know about the University of Chicago about what GPA is required to be accepted. And how many community service hours will higher your chances of being accepted into this college.
